Adebola is an award winning educator and community development strategist. She is an Early Childhood Education (ECE) Professor and a certified Personal Development Coach, Speaker and Trainer from the John Maxwell Leadership Company. She is currently a PhD Settlement & Immigration Policy student whose research focuses on inequity issues and mental health of immigrants
Her areas of expertise are in early childhood education, personal development, non-profit management, grant writing, and community-based programs and research. Adebola holds a diploma in Early Childhood Education, an Honors Bachelor of Child Development, and a graduate certificate in Mental Health Intervention from Seneca Polytechnic, Toronto. She holds a master’s degree in Child and Youth Care from Toronto Metropolitan University, and a certificate in Advancing Women’s Leadership in Conflict Transformation, Peacebuilding, and Community Development from St Xavier University.
She has expertise in post-secondary teaching, training, facilitation, curriculum development, co-creation of anti-racism work plan, non-profit leadership, program development & evaluation, grant writing, and sustainable community engagement. Adebola is the Founder & Executive Director at Afro Women and Youth Foundation (AWYF), Team Lead at Adebola Adefioye Consulting (AAC) and an Early Childhood Education (ECE) Professor at a community college. She is a board member with many organizations where she continues to collaborate with other executives and contribute meaningfully to various social change work.
